I remember the first scrapbook that I did was for my children. I made each of my children a “Coming of Age
book when they turned 19. The book included photos of them as babies, special photos from different grades, their first boyfriend/girlfriend, prom and semi formal photos. Our eldest son was so thrilled with his book and showed it to everyone who came to our house. I was surprised actually, as I did not think that guys in general would appreciate a book like this. I am so glad that I made this book for him as I will always treasure it,  as my son passed away in an accident in 2003, he was only 25 years old.

I also made the same kind of book for our daughter, this time there was software that you could buy to make fancy pages.  I had a lot of fun choosing backgrounds finding special photos and putting the book together.  Our daughter got married last year, 2006 and a lot of family travelled from England for the wedding. Weddings are such special occassions and a great time to get photos of all the family especially the ones that had travelled so far.  I will post some of the highlights of the book on here (as soon as I get my scanner fixed) I customized thank you books for the bridesmaids and groomsmen as well as for the grandparents.  But weddings are only one of the many thousands of ideas for making a special book.
